As the signature program for Hope Rocks, A Life Imagined begins by inviting participants to reflect upon and define their personal and/or corporate vision. With our sense of wonder and creativity, we explore a glimpse into the realm of possibilities for each.
‘Making a difference’ is something that most people want to do but more often than not, find themselves as bystanders, appreciating the work of others. Having the opportunity to engage in philanthropy, no matter how large or small, can unleash an individuals’ sense of purpose and pride, spilling over into all areas of their life - personal, academic, career.
We will unearth our individual and collective vision for becoming social change makers. We will explore our interests and passion for making a difference, identify possible projects (locally or globally) to take on, and then, carve a path to make it happen.
Who knew that providing for homeless kids to attend school in Las Vegas, helping a single mother in Peru purchase goats to feed her family through a micro-finance loan, or supporting an orphanage in Nepal, would be a wise business decision. Put your school or company on the map for the right reasons. Become an agent for social change!
